1. San Jai Network Training Events:

1.1 Child Safe Organization Training

1.2 Celebrating Children Training

- Topic: Module 8 - Self Development and Staff Development

- Date/Venue: 8-10 February 2010 at COC House of Praise, Chiang Mai

- Resource Person: Kimberly Quinley from Step Ahead Foundation (Translation by Nattakarn)

- Attended by 15 participants from 9 organizations

- Certificates of participation in the CCC were also distributed to participants at the end of this training.

1.3 Project Planning Process Training

- Date/Venue: 24-26 March 2010 at YMCA Chiang Mai

- Resource Person: Rebecca Weaver from Habitat for Humanity International (Translation by Nattakarn)

- Attended by 9 participants from 3 organizations 

1.4 Child Abuse Prevention Training

- Date/Venue: 30-31 March 2010 at YMCA Chiang Mai

- Resource Persons: Office of Child Protection at Church of Christ in Thailand (Translation by Nattakarn)

- Attended by 14 participants from 8 organizations

2. Drug Free Forum co-hosted with KidsQuest (ThinkSmall Foundation)

- Date/Venue:11 February 2010 at ZOE Internation Foundation, Chiang Mai

- The objective is to provide an opportunity to Christian organizations to discuss on drug prevention

- Facilitator: Gary Hays of Think Small Foundation (Translation by Nattakarn)

- Attended by 16 participants from 10 organizations  

3. San Jai Member Meeting

- Date/Venue: 22 March 2010 at Evergreen Place, Bangkok.

- Speaker : M.R. Supinda Chakraband of Child line  

- Attended by 30 participants from 13 organizations

4. San Jai Steering Committee Meeting

- Date/Venue: 17 March 2010, New Life Center Office in Chiang Mai

- This was the second Steering Committee meeting since it was reconstituted in December 2009 and attended by Rev.Kit Ripley from New Life Center Foundation-Chiang Mai, Everlyn Payne from Hope for the Nation Foundation-Chiang Mai, Goson Boonyuang from Compassion International Thailand, and Ana Clamor from World Concern Asia. In this meeting, Kit Ripley was unanimously nominated as Co-Chair of the Steering Committee. As stipulated in the Roles and Responsibilities of San Jai Steering Committee Members, the World Concern representative, is the Co-chair. The next meeting is scheduled on May 27, 2010 at the World Concern Asia Office in Bangkok.

Celebrating training course was launched in 2008  for the first time in Thailand. There were 21 participants from Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Bangkok and Pattaya.
